I was excited to visit Tybee Island because of the HGTV Giveaway home. I swear that I registered every day for a couple of months to win this beautiful refurbished island home. Some lucky person has been blessed with this win. It sure wasn't me. Oh well...........
We heard that there is great biking on Tybee Island....so we loaded up our bikes & headed out.. I think we saw maybe a handful of bikers all day. Helloooo????? Where are the great bike paths? It really wasn't bike friendly on the main road. But....we did enjoy riding around the side streets & following bike path markers past cute vintage cottages. We had a late lunch, early dinner at Stingray's which was nothing to write home about. Afterwards, we decided to skip sitting on the crowded beach & go back to our quiet wilderness campsite. Bye Bye Tybee Island!
