Today,
we discovered a great place to fish in the town of Carrabelle at their
city park. They have a great fishing dock located on the bay. Dave was
able to get a lot of fishing tips from the locals. He caught small
fish which he then used for bait fish.
The
pelicans are very aggressive though and only goal is to get your bait
off your line. Dave finally caught one with his hook. He broke away
but not sure if he still has a hook in his mouth. There are so many
options in Carrabelle for fishing besides the ocean with the bay and
rivers nearby. This truly is a great place to visit and take up
fishing. Next year, if we return...I will also have a fishing pole.
I'll let Dave learn all the tricks first. :-)
