OK....time to get back to our healthy eating plan. We ended up eating "All you can pasta" last night at 2 Als. Ugh. It was very good and reasonably priced for $8.95 a person. But, we were stuffed last night and still feeling sluggish this morning. We always feel better when we eat lighter healthy foods and stay away from flour, sugar and processed foods. So today begins our journey back into gaining control of our eating habits. Otherwise, I will not fit into my clothes anymore.
We spent the afternoon at the beach and then met up with George and Kathy at Fathom's Steam Room & Raw Bar in Carrabelle. Dave and I ordered a dozen oysters - 1/2 raw & 1/2 steamed with Parmesan cheese. They were good but only half the size as The Beach Pit in Eastpoint. The price was $8.95 compared to $5.00 at The Beach Pit during their happy hour from 4-6PM.
Check out their website above though for a schedule of live music. Their band line up looks great. This Saturday "Wakulla Rising" is playing Swamp Blues music. I love blues and would love to go see this band. Tonight though was Karaoke night. Thank goodness, I didn't sing. Although, I did enjoy a little line dancing. Fathom's is a fun place and the regulars there are so friendly.
